Concert programming

Music will travel free in the 2025 festival. Thus, no determined theme, rather a selection of musical ensembles that have particularly held the attention of the programming committee. Our wish is to share these choices with you for your greatest enjoyment – and ours.
This program is an invitation to an essentially European musical journey across styles and centuries : the outstanding art of baroque violin of the 17th century with LES VEILLEURS DE NUIT, the Middle Ages with TASTO SOLO and the discovery of polyphony, in 17th century Venice with TUMBLEWEEDS, 17th and 18th century Scottish and Irish popular music with LES MUSICIENS DE SAINT JULIEN, at sea on a 16th century English vessel with Le QUATUOR A’DAM & François JOUBERT-CAILLET.

Friday August 1 at 9.pm: LES VEILLEURS DE NUIT: « Les Sonates du Rosaire »

Part 1 (Merry mysteries), part 2 (Sorrowful mysteries) and part 3 (Glorious mysteries), from the most famous work of the Austro-Czech composer Heinrich Biber (17th century), typical of the baroque violin repertory, remarkable for the organization and virtuosity required in its interpretation.
